North Idaho College is hosting an informal social event for all veterans of U.S. military services at noon Thursday, November 19 in the Powderhorn Bay Room on the lower level of NIC's Adminster Student Union Building.
The event will provide veterans the opportunity to meet local veterans services coordinators, including Daryl Heisey of Kootenai County Veterans Services, Shelley Landry of U.S. Representative Walt Minnick's Office, NIC Veterans Coordinator Kecia Siegel, Mike Ogle of the Spokane Veterans Outreach Center and Robert Shoeman of the Idaho Department of Labor.
The event will also include free pizza to all in attendance.
The event is sponsored by NIC's Dean of Students Office and Counseling Services.
