Free Medicare Events In Silver Valley

Conducted by the Senior Health Insurance Benefit Advisors (SHIBA) from the Idaho Department of Insurance, there will be several opportunities to enroll or change insurance companies for both Medicare Part D or Medicare Part C.

The Open Season for enrollment or changing insurance companies for either prescription drug coverage (Medicare Part D) or Medicare Advantage Plans (Medicare Part C) ends December 31, 2009.

For Medicare Part D:
December 2 and December 9 at Kohal's Pharmacy in Pinehurst from 11am to 2pm. Individualized help with Medicare Drug Plans will be available. Bring a list of all your prescription drugs.

December 10 at the Osburn VFW from 10am to 4pm. We will help you choose a prescription drug plan and even enroll you in your new plan if you are ready. Bring a list of all your prescription drugs.

Medicare 101 Classes:
December 15 at the Osburn VFW 1pm to 3pm.
December 17 at the Snakepit 1pm to 3pm.
We will discuss original Medicare parts A and B, Advantage Plans, Medigap Plans, Medicare Part D (prescription drugs) and Extra Help programs.
