Eleanor Jean Angle, 74, Osburn, passed away Friday, January 16, 2004, at Silver Wood Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Silverton.
Eleanor was born in Superior, Montana, November 3, 1929, to Pearl and Richmond (Blackie) McKinnon. She was a lifelong resident of Shoshone County. She started working many years ago at the Food Center, then moved with them when they moved to their current location, eventually becoming Excell Foods.
She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, a homemaker and a great friend to all. Eleanor Was a member of the Baptist Church in Osburn, and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She also loved to sew.
On May 5, 1946, she married Charles A. Angle Jr. in Wallace.
Survivors include her husband, Chuck, at the family home in Osburn; two sons, Jim of Mullan, Spike of Osburn; two daughters, Charlene Saueressig, Lebo Kansas, and Patsy of Mullan; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara and Charolett, both of San Diego; and four brothers, Butch, Harvey, and Wally McKinnon, all of Wallace, and Jerry McKinnon, Osburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Tommy.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, at the Baptist Church in Osburn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the East Shoshone Quick Response Unit, Post Office Box 723, Osburn, Idaho, 83849.
