Funeral mass was held at St. Rita's Catholic Church for Steve Spotanski, 71, Kellogg, who died January 12, 2004.

Steve was born in Ashton, Nebraska, July 10, 1932, to Julia and Stephen Spotanski. Steve joined the Air Force in 1951, and served until 1955, when he was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant.

In April, 1955, he married Gloria Rieger, and they lived Nebraska for seven years managing a mobile home sales business. In 1962, they moved to the northwest, where Steve worked for First Security Bank at several branches. He spent the last 17 years of his career as manager of the Kellogg branch.

He enjoyed camping, fishing and travel.

He is survived by his wife; children Vicky Rodgers, Post Falls, Michael Spotinski, Wenatchee, Washington, and Robert Spotanski, Donald, Oregon; sisters Candy Spady, North Platte, Nebraska, and Betty Hegarty, Beemer, Nebraska; brother Larry Spotanski, Omaha, Nebraska; and five grandchildren.
