Funeral services were held in the Hodge Funeral Chapel for Helen M. Miller, 93, St. Maries, who died January 19, 2004.

She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, January 2, 1911, to James and Margaret Sanderson. In 1928, she married Garry Miller in Buffalo, Wyoming. The family moved to St. Maries from Big Fork, Montana, in 1941.

Helen enjoyed her children and her grandchildren, and she enjoyed playing bingo, going for rides up the St. Joe and visiting the old house at Round Lake.

She is survived by daughters Ruth Kuechmann, Kalispell, Montana, Virginia Hawersaat, Veneta, Oregon, Irene Miller, St. Maries, and Odessa Miller, Post Falls; son Carl Miller, Orofino; sisters Merlin, Marie and Donna, all of California; 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
