Felicity Adams

Mass of Christian Burial was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, DeSmet, for Felicity Adams, 65, who died of cancer February 7, 2004, at her Spokane home.

Felicity was born in Arle, Montana, August 12, 1938, to Robert and Lucy Adams. She grew up in the Tensed area, raised by her grandparents and later her uncle. She attended the DeSmet Mission School.

In 1958, she married Joseph Finley in Coeur d'Alene, and the couple made their home in California for three years before returning to Spokane. She later moved to Plummer. The couple divorced in the early 1970s.

In 1973, she married Bill Reinhart in Coeur d'Alene, and the family lived in Idaho, Washington and Montana as he followed construction jobs. They later separated, and Bill died in 2003.

Felicity moved to Spokane in 1997, and was diagnosed with cancer in June, 2003.

She was a member of the Confederate Salish and Kootenai Tribes on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Montana, and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed attending powwows, sewing and shopping at thrift stores.

She is survived by sons Thomas Finley, Key West, Florida, Daniel Finley, Pablo, Montana, and Gabriel Swan, Tri-Cities, Washington; daughters Marlene Justice, Hayden, Monica Finley, Sanders, and Debbie Aripa, Plummer; and nine grandchildren.
