The time in my life has come to climb other ladders and to read about your travels and adventures rather than beat my chest all the time.

We hope this column will continue to whet your appetite to roam our beloved North Idaho Panhandle and serve as a venue to publish your own on the road experiences about our area.

Your Uncle Bud hat now reads just Bud and I leave you with this quote from the infamous George Eliot - “It is never too late to be what you might have been.
