Reminder: Mother of All Yard Sales hits Boundary County next month

The Greater Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the “Mother of All Yard Sales,” a city and county wide yard sale taking place in conjunction with Crazy Days July 15-16.

The chamber is requesting that everyone in the community who is planning a yard sale this summer hold it on one or both those days, turning Boundary County into a two-day Mecca for shoppers, who will find bargains from the Canadian border to the Bonner County line, including at stores throughout Bonners Ferry, where sidewalk sales and the best prices of the year are to be held.

For those who hold yard sales on those days, the chamber will provide advertising support, publishing lists and maps of all the yard sales that will be going on. As the event draws nearer, the Kootenai Valley Press will post the information on their website. There will be no fee to those hosting yard sales.

All participants are welcome, including individuals, clubs, service organizations, churches and businesses in what is hoped to become an annual event, making Crazy Days not only the best day of the year to shop in Bonners Ferry, but the best time to find a plethora of yard sales throughout the community! To find out more, call Dave Jurgensen, 208-267-5150, or Kay Burdick, 208-267-2432.
