I was in Spokane, WA, staying with some friends in July 2005 when Shasta was recognized, recovered, rescued, & endeavours began to return her to some semblance of life after the calamity that took -that shook her short life of 8 years.

She entered my prayer life then, from that day on, & I often wonder how she is getting on today nearly a full three years later.

On occasion I put her name into my 'old' computer. I clicked on this website about her New Home, & I rejoice in the progress made for her, and also for her father in the wake of the somewhat severe operations he's had to face.

It is my prayer for them, even for the woman of that late nighter in Coeur d'Alene, who took a major role in Shasta's recovery, that the grace of the Lord Jesus -mighty to save, would be their portion, as well as all those others who've been involved one way or another in Shasta's recovery. (Even for J.Duncan, whom as I look at the events as they unfolded, I think would have been sure they'd be recognized. But I, not being a U.S. citizen, have no idea of the American Judicial system.)

But let there be a blessing to all those involved in Shasta's ongoing recovery.
