The Idaho Nature Notes stated Tuesday that on March 30, 2007, Mark and Delia Owens, residents of Curley Creek Valley, (part of The Nature Conservancy's Ball Creek Ranch in the Kootenai River Valley) had the Ecology and Conservation Biology Club from the University of Idaho volunteering their help in restoring the wetlands with the planting willow and other native plant species.
