Narcotics Unit Busts Priest River Meth Lab

More Suspects May Be Charged

Three Priest River residents were arrested June 14 for allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine stemming from an investigation of a suspected meth lab by members of the Bonner County Sheriff Narcotics Unit.

According to a BCSNU press release, Colmon D. Hamilton, 49, Robert D. Coleman, 53 and Randy M. Carson, 38, were arrested for manufacturing the drug. Methamphetamine, along with suspected chemicals for making the drug, was seized by BCSNU officials from Hamilton's Lincoln Street residence in Priest River.

Also found at Hamilton's property were two jet skis that had been reported stolen in Washington State.

A follow-up investigation is continuing. Officials say additional charges will most likely be filed against the trio along with several other suspects.
