Course Shows How to Find Non-Profit Grants on the Internet

Nationally-recognized grant consultants Renée Bourque and Janet Bourque will give a presentation on how to find grant money on the Internet to fund non-profit organizations.
Two sessions of the same presentation, Prospecting for Gold: How to Find Grants on the Internet, will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, Feb. 29 and March 1 at North Idaho College Workforce Training Center, 525 W. Clearwater Loop in Post Falls.
There is a $95 registration, which includes a resource CD and a coupon for two weeks free subscription to FoundationSearch.

The hands-on workshop will teach attendees how to find many kinds of grants for non-profits with Internet-based tools.
Prospecting for Gold: How to Find Non-Profit Grants on the Internet is a must. This 4-hour workshop will be held in the NIC Workforce Training Center computer lab where experienced grant writers and Bright Star Grant Consultants will show you how to use a wide variety of Internet-based search tools and databases to find grants.
Attendees will be introduced to the different kinds of grant sources (government, foundation, corporation, individual, etc.) and then shown how to find them. The workshop begins with instruction and then there will be time for guided individual searches. Attendees will leave with a CD-ROM of resources with hundreds of pages of information, handouts, and coupons for deep discounts of Internet-based grant search subscriptions that they will learn to use in the workshop.

Presenter Renée Bourque is a nationally-recognized consultant.
