Free Workshop for 'Creating a Home Run Ad'

An informative workshop designed to give a better understanding of what it takes to make a better ad will be held from 10 a.m. -11 a.m. April 15 in Priest Lake.

Sponsored by the International Selkirk Loop, the workshop hosted by Cavanaugh Bay Resort & Marina will be presented by Scott Johnson, Director of Sales at Keokee Company Publishing.

Some of the highlights are :
* Why your business name and address are not enough.
* Why saying too much is usually worse than too little.
* What is the difference between a good and bad ad.
* What are the important elements to always include in an ad?
* Is the message in a print ad different from a web banner ad?
* Consider the audience that the ad is supposed to motivate.
* Does the ad include a call to action, why is one necessary?
* Does your ad make you want to go there and visit?
* Why hire a professional to design an ad? Won't it cost a lot?
