Pottery, Painting Workshops Set for September



      

Bonners Ferry artist Diana Moses Botkin will be conducting clay pottery and a pastel painting workshops on Sept. 6 and Sept. 27 at the Naples Gallery. She will provide helpful instruction in a relaxing atmosphere. Class sizes will be limited. Along with healthy lunches, live demonstrations and personalized attention will also be provided to help develop skills.

Clay Pottery Fun: Saturday, Sept. 6. All skill levels, ages 10 & over. Participants will be shown how to make hand-built pots. Naples Gallery owner Suzanne Lublin will fire the creations after they dry.

Pastel Painting Fun: Saturday, Sept. 27. All skill levels, ages 14 & over. Participants will be shown live demonstrations, with explanations on how Diana Botkin uses pastel. Morning instruction will be indoors with still-life. Afternoon demos & class will be outside, weather permitting.

Saturday workshops run from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuition is $45, and includes lunch. Clay workshop materials fee $10. Pastel class materials fee $15 (or bring your own). Pre-enrollment and tuition deposit are required to secure your spot in class,
