Victim admits rape allegations false

On April 27, Coeur d’Alene police detectives interviewed Brandy Ingraham, 22, of Coeur d’Alene, ID, in reference to a rape report she filed on April 25.

She alleged that an unknown man attacked her while jogging near Tubbs Hill on March 30. Brandy admitted to detectives that the allegations were false. Charges for filing a false police report are pending in this case. False rape reports cause unnecessary alarm in the community and take investigators time away from the victims of actual crimes.
