Graham Cracker Gingerbread House

Here is a great idea that you can do with your kids as a Christmas Eve project to keep those little ones busy while waiting for Santa to arrive!
GRAHAM CRACKER GINGERBREAD HOUSE
Ingredients:
10 Whole graham crackers
1 Can of white frosting or 1 cup of homemade frosting
¼ tsp. Cream of tartar
A variety of small candies, sprinkles, pretzels etc. to decorate your house with!
1 small Ziploc baggie
Directions:
Prepare frosting by adding ¼ tsp. of cream of tartar to about 1 cup of frosting ( this will help the frosting to harden so your house can stand up.)
Put frosting mixture in a plastic baggie and cut a hole in the corner, so you can squeeze the frosting out of it.
Use the frosting as “glue”, glue four double graham crackers in the shape of a rectangle on a tray or plate. Then, glue two half sized crackers to the sides to make a complete box.
Prop the walls of the house against something so the house dries straight.
Now put frosting on the corners of two more graham crackers. Place the crackers on wither side to make a peak. Now you have the roof of the house. Let your house dry for about an hour.
Once your house is dry, frost each side and use candy to decorate! Be sure to frost and decorate one side at a time so your frosting doesn’t harden before you can stick candy to it. Use that imagination! And make sure you take lots of pictures!
