WORSHIPFUL MASTERS MESSAGE

Brethren:

Masoni

Brethren:

I hope we have a better turn out for the EA Degree on June 9th than we had on May 19th.

It’s sad when only 10 members attend an EA Degree or any other Degree.

The Lodge will be dark from June 10th through September 1st.

Fraternally,
Gerald L. Riggs, Worshipful Master

 SECRETARY'S REPORT

Although the Lodge is dark during the summer we still have some duties to perform. The awning on the front of the Lodge is in a sad state, and we will need to recover it with paintable aluminum.

The Worshipful Master will also announce a work day to clean up the Lodge parking lot and landscaping. The paving needs to be resealed now or we will have problems later.

At the June Stated Meeting, the Lodge will be discussing the Adopt-a-Highway program for our section on I-90. If someone could volunteer to organize a work party, it would be greatly appreciated. That sign on I-90 is one of the only landmarks that identifies our presence in the community.

In memoriam:
Dennis E. Worthington  3/4/1920   4/4/2009

Fraternally yours,
Tom Melbourn, Secretary

 QUEEN ESTHER CHAPTER #12
ORDER OF THE EASTERN STAR

Greetings All!

Bucky and I thank everyone for such a wonderful installation on May 3rd. We had a full house and were very honored to have Idaho’s AGM, Lucy Miller, and AGP, John Snodderley as our Installing Officers assisted by Virginia Balser, Dean Childers, Susan Snodderley and Kathryn Robison.

Thanks also to our officers for accepting their stations. The ladies were beautiful in their royal blue tops, black skirts and silver shoes and the gents handsome in their tuxedos and blue tries and vests.

I t was also a very rare privilege to have our RWAGP, Brother Fred Clark and his wife Margaret, both a PGP and PGM of Nova Scotia, also in attendance. It was a very special day indeed.

Our first meeting, the next day, was to honor our Jr. PM and PP, Judith and Barry Walsborn, However, Barry was in the hospital after abdominal surgery so their honor night is postponed until he’s feeling up to par. His recovery is going very well.

We did honor Mother’s Day. A lovely poem was read and homemade lollipops were given out. Bucky and I were so proud of our Officers and the excellent ritualistic work performed, especially our first time officers. A very nice job was done by all!

Our second meeting was honoring all members of Queen Esther #12. The members were saluted with some nice words and given a loaf of homemade banana bread. Bucky and I appreciate and value the support of every member. If you haven’t been to Chapter for a while, please do visit soon. You are missed!
