To the People of Bonners Ferry and Boundary County:

Wow is all we can say to such a wonderful outpouring of support from the community that we military families have received. On Saturday afternoon, a Christmas party and dinner was provided for us to relax, enjoy, and forget that our loved ones are moving into harms way and away from us during this holiday season.

The list below includes those who made that party possible, and we want everyone to know how much we appreciated it!!

American Legion Boundary Post #55 & Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce - hosting the dinner.

Bonners Ferry Rotary Club – gift certificates from local stores (LaMar’s, Dollar Depot & More, and Bonner Books) for the children.

Lou Maring for spearheading the US Border Patrol, Customs & Border Protection (Eastport & Porthill) for dinner baskets & gifts.

The Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai County for stockings with gift cards to Wal-Mart.

And to the community for purchasing our “Support our Troops” ribbon magnets that are for sale at the armory.

We hope that we did not leave anyone out, if we did please accept our apology & except our thanks.
