Rotary Club offers Scholarships BONNERS FERRY, Idaho-Boundary County residents seeking higher education are invited to apply for the Rotary Scholarship sponsored by The Rotary Club of Bonners Ferry, a non-profit organization open to all individuals interested in expanding their sense of self and community.

The Rotary scholarship is offered to any deserving citizen of Boundary County who is graduating or has graduated from high school and wishes to pursue higher education at any accredited college, university or vocational school. Those returning to school and those engaged in obtaining degrees on-line are also encouraged to apply. Deadline for applying is April 15, 2005.

Scholarship selection is on the basis of the applicant's academic achievement, personal goals and motivation. The scholarship must be used within one year of the date awarded and will be sent directly to the school of the recipient's choice. Successful applicants will be asked to speak at a Rotary Club meeting. Rotary meets each Tuesday at Mugsey's at noon.

Applications may be obtained from high school counselors, the UI Extension Office or any Rotary Club member.
